Ancor's 18 AWG Tinned Copper Wire is designed specifically for marine environments, ensuring longevity and durability. This wire exceeds stringent standards including UL 1426, ABYC, and US Coast Guard Charter boat regulations. Constructed with premium-grade vinyl insulation, it is rated for 600V and operates effectively in temperatures up to 105°C dry and 75°C wet. This wire remains flexible even in extreme cold conditions, resisting temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C). It is built to withstand harsh marine conditions, resisting issues from salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and ultraviolet radiation.

The ultra-flexible Type 3 tinned copper stranding offers superior protection against corrosion and electrolysis while providing resilience against fatigue caused by vibration and flexing.
