The Barton Boomstrut 44010 is specifically engineered for boats measuring up to 6 meters (20 feet) with a maximum boom tip weight of 6.3 kilograms (14 pounds). It complements existing kicker or rope vangs by providing upward lift to maintain optimal sail shape, even in lighter wind conditions. Constructed with high-quality materials including white rods and Spectro Anodised boom and mast fittings, it ensures that the boom remains elevated when lowering the sail or when the topping lift is disengaged.
