BEP 12V Motorized VSS Switch - 275A Dual Operation

This voltage sensitive switch (VSS) is designed to automatically sense connected battery bank voltage, ensuring optimal and efficient charging for the secondary battery bank. The VSS allows for independent battery banks to be either combined or isolated depending on the presence of a charging source, such as an engine alternator or battery charger. Additionally, it offers a remotely activated high current emergency parallel connection.

Constructed for durability in marine environments, the switch features tinned copper conductors, stainless steel hardware, and high-temperature, fiber-reinforced plastics. With ignition protection, it allows for On/Off switching and can be either recessed or surface mounted.

The remote emergency parallel function is activated through a momentary button, enabling the batteries to be paralleled for 10 minutes. If the voltage is sufficiently high after this period, the VSS remains engaged; otherwise, it will automatically disengage.
