The B175M transducer features medium frequency technology that provides optimal coverage under the boat, extends depth range, and offers exceptional target and structure returns in mid to deeper waters. Its medium frequency capability allows for excellent performance from shallow to mid-depths, showcasing detailed bottom structures and enhancing fish-target differentiation. Operating within a frequency range of 85 to 135 kHz, it can detect fish at medium depths of up to 457 m (1500') with outstanding resolution.

Airmar’s Tilted Element™ design positions the transducer element at a fixed angle (20°), ensuring it remains almost flush to the hull. This thoughtful installation angle corrects for the hull's deadrise, enhancing echo returns to the transducer for more accurate readings.
