Self-Learning and Adaptive Software

From the initial setup at the dock to your last journey, NavPilot continually learns your vessel's steering characteristics, allowing for real-time adjustments that enhance steering accuracy.

Innovative SAFE HELM and POWER ASSIST Features

The optional SAFE HELM and POWER ASSIST features offer a unique interface to the vessel's hydraulic steering system, providing unparalleled control and comfort. These modes reduce steering effort, bolstering the safety and effectiveness of your autopilot system.

POWER ASSIST utilizes the SAFE HELM concept to provide speed-based, power-assisted steering, minimizing manual effort in maneuvering scenarios. This feature can replace separate electric power systems, reducing complexity and cost while enhancing efficiency.

To activate SAFE HELM and POWER ASSIST, the FPS8 Power Steering Module and a compatible HRP Pumpset are required. It is highly recommended to install the FPS8 at the same time as the NavPilot for an optimized hydraulic setup.

FishHunter Mode

NavPilot's FishHunter mode enables users to track fish or birds detected by Furuno sonar or radar, executing a variety of maneuvers around the target. This feature is also effective for Man Overboard (MOB) situations.

The Furuno NavPilot series is compatible with NavNet 3D, FI-50 Instrument series, and other navigation equipment, featuring an easy-to-install Plug and Play CAN bus interface.
