ITU-R M493-16 Class D Digital Selective Calling

This VHF radio includes a separate Channel 70 receiver to ensure that DSC calls can be received while communicating on other channels. In case of emergency, the DSC DISTRESS function broadcasts a digital MAYDAY message including vessel identification, geographic coordinates, and timestamp when connected to a GPS.
