ITU-R M493-16 Class D Digital Selective Calling

This model is compliant with ITU-R M493-16 Class D VHF standards and features a dedicated Channel 70 receiver, allowing for uninterrupted reception of DSC calls while communicating on other channels.

The DSC DISTRESS function sends a digital MAYDAY signal that includes your vessel's identification, Latitude/Longitude, and time (if connected to a GPS), facilitating a swift response in emergencies. You can also make Individual, Urgency, Safety, and Position Report calls.

High-Resolution Dot Matrix Display

The high-resolution dot matrix display allows easy navigation of the radio's features. An adjustable ultra-bright backlight ensures visibility both during the day and at night.
