This thicker material supports a larger waterproof seal, ensuring minimal flexing during tightening and maintained uniform pressure on the seal. The UV stability of the acrylic combined with the durability of ABS protects against damaging effects.

Enhanced Waterproofing – All RailMount NavPods come with a double gasket system for exceptional watertight sealing, safeguarding marine electronics against the harshest boating conditions. The Gen3 models include a thicker external silicone gasket for a better fit and an internal Poron Microcell Polyurethane gasket that is 50% thicker and resists compression set, ensuring reliable performance when servicing electronics in the future.
