J2K100 NMEA 2000 and J1939 Bridge Gateway

Maretron's J2K100 connects directly to J1939 networks for compatible engines, transmissions, and gensets, converting J1939 engine data to the NMEA 2000 marine digital interface. This enables critical engine, transmission, and genset data to be distributed throughout the vessel via a single cable, allowing for monitoring on any NMEA 2000 compatible display. The J2K100 listens to the J1939 network and does not draw power from it, as it receives power from the NMEA 2000 interface. Importantly, it does not transmit any information over the J1939 network, ensuring no interference with existing engine control or status data.

The J2K100 can also function as part of a comprehensive fuel computer system. By connecting the J2K100 to the Maretron universal display (DSM200) and the GPS antenna/receiver (GPS100), users can access metrics like gallons per hour and miles per gallon.
